It’s been a very busy summer this year. We’ve had a new logo designed for our Company, our website has been updated to a modern version and of course, we’ve created some new tours. Not only have we created these new tours, we’ve got some new travel products for the consumer. We’ve got something special for you this year – Winter Vacation Getaways! That’s our big news this summer!
Now we’re offering not only retirement and real estate tours to Nicaragua, but we are the first to offer all-inclusive travel packages, flying out of five US cities – with the flights, airport transfers, hotel, meals, and a tour – to Granada. We offer another all-inclusive Nicaragua vacation from Nolitours – flying out of Montreal to stay at the Barcelo Montelimar Beach Resort on the Pacific Coast of Nicaragua. We’re excited! We’re working with an INTUR licensed travel agency for the all-inclusive vacation packages to Granada and they are excited about it as well.
So if you’d like to take a look at our brand new website, you can visit it here. Let us know what you think of our new design. You’ll see our new logo as well, designed by our graphic designer.
We ran three tours earlier this year, the Highlights of Nicaragua tour, the 12 Day Fact Finding tour and the Beachfront Property tour. Along with those tours we held two Meet the Experts: Roundtable Forums which are luncheons where our clients get to meet the experts living and working in Nicaragua. This is an opportunity for would-be expats to ask the questions they need answers to as they prepare to move to Nicaragua. Needless to say, everyone had lots of interesting questions and pens and paper ready to write down what they really need to know. Everybody has different questions and also learned a lot from the questions others asked. It’s a relaxed informal atmosphere over a lunch. The first luncheon of the Meet the Experts: Roundtable Forums was held in Leon and the second was held in Managua.
We also ran a tour of the Hospital Metropolitano Vivian Pellas in Managua so our clients could get a really good look at the ultra modern medical facility and learn about the healthcare situation in Nicaragua. Arlen Pérez, the Medical Tourism Manager at Hospital Metropolitano took us around the hospital facilities.
Our tours of Nicaragua now include a couple of really exciting additions that went over very well with our guests on our tours earlier this year. We added a sunset sailing cruise with Captain Ralph Hewitt from San Juan del Sur. The proceeds of this sailing event go to the local Sea Scouts charity. The cruise on the sailboat was fantastic, headed in a northerly direction up the coast. We paused for a break at Playa Blanca, enjoyed a snack sandwich and a toast of Flor de Caña run after sunset. Sailing lasted about five or six hours and after the magnificent sunset, we returned to our hotel, the Park Avenue Villas, well after dark.
Our Highlights of Nicaragua and the 12 Day Fact Finding tour now includes a “Colonial Home Tour” given by the artist Amy Bushnell in Granada. All proceeds from this tour also go to charity. It’s an incredible tour that takes our guests behind the mysterious closed doors of the houses in Granada. One can walk past a thousand closed doors in Granada but you’ll never really know the beauty of these historical renovations until you have the opportunity to step inside these magnificent colonial houses. Not everyone wants to live at the beach in Nicaragua and not everyone wants to buy a brand new home. Many people who move to Nicaragua actually want to buy and renovate a historical home. Perhaps they buy a colonial home that’s already been restored and by taking this tour, they get some fresh decorating ideas on exactly what can be done with a historical home. The imagination is limitless!
We’re gearing up for the new tour season which starts with the Highlights of Nicaragua tour in November. All other tours take place in January, February and March spring 2014. The all-inclusive vacations have Friday departures. We hope you’ll be able to signup for one of our tours that take place this winter-spring season. If you’re not thinking of moving to Nicaragua, come visit on one of our all-inclusive vacation packages! Spend a week in paradise, relax and leave the planning to us!
Please note: All travel bookings are made by licensed travel agents (TICO no. 50018114 and INTUR license in Nicaragua).
