Your Travel Health in Nicaragua
It is important when you travel
to Nicaragua or any other country for that matter, to verify with
your personal physician or a Travel Health clinic specialist as to what
immunization or medications you will need for traveling. These are the
only experts that can give you the information you require. Your government
will also be able to provide basic information on their travel health
websites. The following government websites will provide the information
you need for traveling to Nicaragua:

The Nica Tour Group has put together a great fully escorted package through
a licensed travel agency showing you why Nicaragua makes so much sense
as a retirement destination. All costs, taxes, and fees are covered with
ample time to sightsee and participate in many question and answer sessions.
All questions will be explored and answered with materials to bring home
and review, as well as an available on-line link should something come
to mind at a later date. Once you have made the decision to relocate and
change your life, a team of Nicaraguan based professionals are available
to make the transition with you.
There are many simple precautions you can take to avoid becoming ill while
traveling. Simple precautions such as not over-doing your alcohol and
food consumption, frequent hand-washing, not brushing your teeth with
tap water, not drinking tap water and avoid purchasing food from food
carts in the street. Don't overdo your time soaking up the rays of the
sun. Take vitamin C which will help your body build up immunity. It takes
a while for your body to adjust to new foods and drink, warmer climate
and different bugs and viruses you may not yet have immunity to.
There are also some medications you should bring with you just in case
you become sick while on a tour
of Nicaragua. An example of these medications may be aspirin, Tylenol
and an anti-diarhea medication. You should also bring sunscreen and a
hat to avoid over-exposure to the sun. If you have any pre-existing medical
conditions, please bring your medications in the original prescription
bottle and ensure you have enough to last you for the length of the time
you spend in Nicaragua. Check to see what your travel doctor advises.
It is also mandatory on our tours that you complete a Medical Health form
and purchase travel
medical insurance before joining any of our Nicaragua
tours. You must also complete our Medical Health form and if you have
a pre-existing condition your doctor must also complete a section in the
form. The Medical Health form must be submitted to our office at least
30 days prior to the beginning date of your tour. We want you to be able
to enjoy your time on any tour we provide and becoming sick while traveling
will interfere with your enjoyment of the tour. Taking simple precautions
will ensure that you fully enjoy your tour and have good memories of your
travels with the NicaTour Group. You can obtain Free
Travel Insurance Quotes from Travel Guardthrough
